A few months ago, I came across an Instagram account that periodically selects a group of artists to participate in an international print exchange. When the most recent callout for artists popped up in my feed, I put my name forward, not expecting anything to come of it. To my surprise and delight, I am thrilled to report that I have been selected to participate in the 7th international print exchange organized by @im_printed, along with 39 other artists (split into two groups of 20).

The challenge is to create a brand-new limited edition print on the theme of “Depth” in a little over a month. I am, of course, overthinking and questioning everything, being prone to taking things literally but also usually working in the abstract, which don’t quite go together. Not quite sure how this will go but I am thrilled to participate and excited to have another challenging project to tackle. Stay tuned to see what comes of this!
